MUD at TDH.Com is, and always will be free.

That said, it is important to realize the costs involved in providing you with the fun, exciting and continually improving board that TDH has become. Our long time adventurers can tell you about the improvements made in the recent past, such as the addition of MajorMud Mod 9: Prophecy of Plague, the reduction of system lag, and various other changes in the way the system works.

Some future goals include the addition of more incoming nodes, which will increase the number of players that can be logged in at any one time and reduce the lock-out period between calls.

Unfortunately, all of this comes with a pricetag, paid out of pocket by the sysops: and it isn't cheap.

But now you can help us reach our future goals and make improvements along the way. By donating to TDH you are showing your appreciation for the free service we provide, and helping us to make the board better for you and your fellow adventurers.

Donating is completely voluntary, but in return you can take advantage of certain benefits, listed below.

The donation system is as follows:

There is a $5.00 USD minimum per donation. There are NO REFUNDS of donations.

CoSysop of the month includes the following benefits for 30 days from the date of donation:

• 4 hours per call (up from the current 1 hour per call).
• No lockouts.
• Sys Goto ability (allows easy warping to select rooms in the game: Silvermere, Lost City, Khazarad, Newhaven, Rhudaur and the Sysop Support Chamber).
• Retrain ability.
• Add Life ability.
• Sys Map ability.

$5 will get provide one account with C.O.W. Additional accounts can be added for $2.00 per account, with no limit on the number of accounts (keep in mind, you are only allowed 4 accounts online at a time; see rules).

For example, to have two of your accounts credited with C.O.W. at the same time, you must donate $7 US ($5 for the first account, and $2 for the additional account). 3 accounts for $9... 4 accounts for $11, and so on.

Also, we ask that you please only donate for one month at a time. If you would like to pay for multiple months or a full year, we please ask you to donate each month. Sorry for the inconvenience.

IMPORTANT! There are NO REFUNDS for donations. You WILL NOT be credited money OR additional time in the event of system downtime, lag, player deaths, PvP, lost lims, abuse of C.O.W. privlidges, or ANY OTHER REASON not listed here. All C.O.W.s must follow the rules listed here. Remember, you are first and foremost donating to TDH. You are NOT purchasing C.O.W. status or a subscription to the board. Please be sure you understand this BEFORE sending us any money.
